It’s been thirty-six years since the members of the batch have last gathered together. Even though in their fifties already, everybody are looking forward to the event. The grandest reunion to be held right in their school. Everything was taken care of. Most of the graduates are very rich. Most of the graduates are oversees workers earning high-salaried income while the others have established their own business. Most have been taking residence abroad permanently. The graduates who are abroad are the most insistent in this reunion. They have started the arrangement and they fully intend to attend it. All expenses have already been taken care of, including the hiring of a wasp removal company. The wasps are remembered too well by the graduates, but not with fond memories.
All of us graduated from this obscure public school in their community. And they are proud of it. Being sons or daughters of low-income families, they cannot afford to study in private schools.
